25 Things You Need To Know About Beyoncé’s “Lemonade”

Last night, Beyonce debuted her hour-long HBO special “Lemonade.” If you were out on a Saturday night (like me), or don’t have HBO, here’s everything you missed.

  1. Although the album was thought to be released exclusively to Tidal, rumors are swirling that it will be available on iTunes tonight at midnight.
  2. Lemonade is Beyoncé’s new album broken up into 11 chapters in a documentary style film.
  3. The chapters are: Intuition, Denial, Anger, Apathy, Emptiness, Accountability, Reformation, Forgiveness, Resurrection, Hope, and Redemption.
  4. Although Beyoncé is signed to Sony, Lemonade was released through Beyoncé’s label Parkwood.
  5. Rumor has it she bought out her release from Sony, which is the same label Kesha is currently trying to escape leave.
  6. The film features home footage, some including a very pregnant Bey. This is probably to shut down haters who claimed she faked her pregnancy.

  7. The album shows a man-hatin’ Beyoncé, whether it be directing towards her dad, Jay-Z, or maybe both.
  8. Lemonade was cause for Beyoncé’s first tweet in two years.
