Welp. Looks like we can all call it quits on the fantasy we’ve created in our heads that love is real, and more importantly, that you can find true love on reality television.
Our favorite match made in reality TV heaven, Ben and Lauren, could be calling it quits. Even if their whole relationship isn’t over, for now, their wedding is. SAY IT AIN’T SO!
Ok, ok, let’s get to the good stuff. In a 30-second ball-buster of a sneak preview for Ben and Lauren’s Freeform reality show “Ben And Lauren, Happily Ever After” Ben tells Lauren he’s not ready to start a life with Lauren. And when asked if the wedding is off, Ben’s answer is yes.
UHM WHAT!? Two reality shows later and NOW Ben decides he’s not ready to start a life with Lauren? Isn’t that what “The Bachelor” was for anyway? So does this indicate that Ben wasn’t the good guy, heartthrob we all thought he was? Were his intentions pure? IS HE JUST AS BAD AS NICK VIALL!? My brain can’t even comprehend this right now.
The two-hour drama fest airs tonight, November 15, on Freeform. So stock up on wine, Oreos, and Kleenex, because I have a feeling we will all be having some PTSD of our own shit show love lives. And the myth will be busted once and for all that every man on the planet has commitment issues. And they all lived “Happily Ever After?” Lol. JK..
