Christina Might Be Coming Back To “Grey’s Anatomy”

Tonight’s the night that “Grey’s Anatomy” finally comes back and from the look of the teaser trailer, we’re in for quite a doozy. Deluca might die. Alex might go to jail. And Meredith? She’s trying to take care of everything and everyone, just like she’s done since Derek died.

But before Derek was in the picture (seriously), Meredith had Christina. They were each other’s “person.” Since she’s been gone for the past two seasons, things just haven’t been the same. Owen’s since moved on to Amelia but Christina has never left our hearts. Kevin McKidd, the actor who plays Owen Hunt, feels the same way and wouldn’t mind seeing Christina make a comeback.

“I’d love it if she came back, I think she might eventually for fun, for maybe a couple of episodes,” he told Digital Spy. “I don’t think she’d come back for anything long term, but who the hell knows? I feel like I see Sandra a lot still, we’re still really close friends. We meet up quite regularly. I do miss her, but I feel like I get to see her anywhere.”

He also shared that Christina wasn’t too happy about Owen getting married to Amelia (us too, girl).

“She was joking, but she was a bit like, ‘you didn’t tell me you were getting married!’ You left, Sandra! She’s happy for Owen, really. I think she’s happy he married another Canadian actress.”

I’m about it. “Grey’s Anatomy” has already had so many crazy twists and turns that Christina coming back and breaking up his marriage with Amelia probably wouldn’t even make the top ten list. The writers should at least give us this one thing after ripping our heart out and stomping on it about a million times. (RIP George, Lexie, McSteamy, Denny, Derek and anyone else I missed.)

Make it happen, Shonda.
