Caitlyn Jenner is nothing short of brave. She was the first person in history to undergo a transformation while the whole world watched, subjecting herself to name-calling and cruelty, and not caring. She looks beautiful. She looks feminine. And she has great clothes.
Her transformation is so stunning, in fact, that there’s one thing that kind of has me taken aback — her voice. When I heard her speech at the ESPYs, I was honestly surprised that Caitlyn still sounded like…Bruce. It’s a difficult part of the transformation process, that most of us don’t think about if we don’t see it happening. Caitlyn is all-too-aware of it, and she’s trying to make a change.
Well, maybe she still has some work to do, but I think she’ll be alright. Kudos to Caitlyn for shedding light on a part of the transition process that most of us don’t even think about..
