Here’s How You Can Help Ebola Victim And Sigma Kappa Sister, Nina Pham

After posting this column about the first patient to contract Ebola in the United States, I received an overwhelming amount of emails asking if I had Nena Pham’s, the TCU Sigma Kappa alumna, contact information. So, I did some digging and found a way that we can help. If you’re interested in passing along some well wishes, good thoughts, Panhellenic love, prayers, etc., the hospital where Pham is currently in quarantine, Texas Health Presbyterian, allows users to send a few kind words via an online portal. The location is “Texas Health Presbyterian Dallas.”

If you’re interested in making a monetary donation to Pham’s recovery, her childhood friend set up a GoFundMe page. While the hospital is taking care of all of Pham’s medical bills, other expenses such as the cost of purchasing new clothes and furniture (everything she owned was destroyed) are up to Pham to take care of. The page has already raised nearly $70,000 in two days. But honestly, our girl Nina is going to need a hell of a lot more than that. Once she makes a full recovery (and we’re all praying she does), girlfriend deserves to have a few extra zeros in her bank account.
