That’s it, everyone. Pack up. Go home. Deactivate your Twitter accounts. The best hashtag in the history of hashtags was created and there’s no point in trying anymore. The whole point of Twitter is to make funny trending topics and become #famous, and seriously, this one just won the game. It came out of nowhere, really. One second it didn’t exist, and the next second it was climbing to the top of the trending list. It’s snarky, clever, fun, and quite honestly, perfect.
It’s trending as #ReplyToASong. And it. is. everything.
People from all over just came together to make fun of the songs we know and love. And as we all know, nothing brings people closer than making fun of celebrities and their work. I dare you to not scroll through every single hashtag and awkwardly smile to yourself. Seriously, it’s impossible. If I had to imagine what would peace would be like, this is it.
