I’m Going To Have A Better Spring Break Than You

I’m not trying to brag, but I’m going to have the best spring break of all time. I’m going on a cruise to the Bahamas, but it’s not your typical cruise that you take with your parents and grandparents where you try and stay as far away from them as possible. I’m going on a cruise where everyone around me will be in college, most likely in Greek life, and definitely ready to turn the fuck up — just like me. I’m going on an all-inclusive (yes, that means food AND alcohol) music festival on a cruise ship, where I’ll spend my days drinking by the pool and my nights at concerts by performers like Lil Dicky, Tyga, The Chainsmokers, Bassjackers, Cash Cash, and Cazzette. There’s also a rumor that Brody Jenner will be in attendance, which leads me to hope and pray that Kylie Jenner just might want to tag along with her boyfriend and half brother. I MIGHT FINALLY MEET A KARDASHIAN/JENNER!

Alright, you caught me. I’m bragging a little.

I’m going on the TFM/TSM Spring Break Cruise and I’ve never been more excited about anything in my life. This will be my first “real” college spring break, and I’m almost positive it’ll be the best. Everyone you know and love (or hate) from TFM and TSM will be there. Rachel Varina will be by the pool sipping piña coladas and eating pizza, Veronica will be desperately trying to get into Lil Dicky’s pants, Rachel Page will be smooth-talking her way into the DJ booth, and as for me? I’ll be in pure paradise. I’ll be surrounded with cool people enjoying endless booze and food, amazing concerts, and it’s also my first time traveling outside of the country — what more could you possibly want in a spring break?

Nothing. Absolutely nothing. I would suggest that everyone book a spot on the cruise right freaking now, but there’s a catch. You have to be 21 to join us on this massive party. And no, your fake ID won’t work in international waters.

I know. It sucks. If this was going on last year, I wouldn’t have been able to go. This is my first spring break after turning 21, and luckily I can join my friends and coworkers on this incredible trip, and if you can, you should too. But if you’re not 21 yet, or if the cruise dates don’t work for you, it’s okay because there’s another not-quite-as-extravagant but still pretty fucking amazing spring break experience you can be a part of.

Student City has set up the most incredible spring break packages in South Padre Island, Texas just for our readers. SPI is truly a college spring break destination and hosts thousands of spring breakers every year. It’s honestly the next best option if you can’t go on the cruise. It’s wild, it’s ridiculous, and it’s one hell of a good time. Student City offers two packages, and the price includes both the hotel and the experience. There’s one at Isla Grand Beach Resort, where their world famous pool encourages a non-stop party atmosphere, and another at Inn at South Padre, which has more of a resort feel with a tropically landscaped swimming pool, hot tub, and spacious and oversized rooms.

Here’s what both packages include:

  • Condo or hotel accommodations
  • Two exclusive StudentCity night events at Louie’s Backyard with free cover
  • Three meal coupons redeemable at Louie’s Backyard or Tequila Sunset
  • Exclusive StudentCity welcome party- Sensation Sunday at Isla Grand Pool
  • Free spring break t-shirt
  • StudentCity wristband with 24-hour emergency telephone number
  • Exclusive welcome orientation
  • 24/7 StudentCity professional staff available
  • All government issued taxes and fees
  • Comprehensive travel insurance

If you can’t go on the cruise with us, we’ll understand. But we still want you to have a good time for a few days in March. Everyone needs to have at least one incredible college spring break trip. Stop worrying about school and life and if he likes you or if you’re too good for him (you are) and start living. You only get four, maybe five, years of being reckless and stupid and having the time of your life with your best friends. You don’t have to wait until you turn 21 to experience an amazing spring break.
