John Mayer Just Randomly Showed Up At An Alpha Phi Philanthropy Event

John Mayer

Ok, I’m just going to get right to it: John Mayer randomly turned up at an Alpha Phi philanthropy on Sunday night Chapman University in Orange County, CA.

Actually, to be clear, it’s not super random: Mayer is currently in “Dead and Company,” a band consisting of original Grateful Dead members Bob Weir, Mickey Hart and Bill Kreutzmann. Weir’s daughter Monet is a member of the chapter, and Mayer attended the chapter’s Red Dress Gala, which raises money for the Alpha Phi Foundation which focuses on women’s heart health, with her dad. But still…people freaked the fuck out.

WOT IN CALIFORNIACATION?!

My favorite part of the above is that the posts from girls are stalker-esque, whereas this Austin dude is apparently the only one who had the balls to actually ask Mayer (and Weir, for that matter) for a posed picture. Come on, ladies: a celeb shows up at your event, you gotta ask for the pic.
