For me, every time I watched an episode of “Kocktails with Khloé,” I had a hard time focusing on the actual show since I never watched it without a drink in my hand. So I may not be the exact expert on what the show was dishing out, but I can tell you I definitely enjoyed sipping at the same time as Khloé and watching her chat with Snoop Dogg, among the other celebrity guests invited to the show. Maybe it was more of an excuse to have a round of cocktails with my friends (read: my dog) than anything else, but whatever, it was still fun.
So brace yourself, dolls, because the show has reportedly been cancelled. Apparently the FYI network is pulling the plug by putting the show on an “indefinite hold,” which I guess in network talk means it’s pretty much over. To add to the mystery reasons behind the show’s cancellation, Khloé didn’t even want to shoot Season 2, which makes no sense since the network had announced ordering 15 more episodes after the show premiered. Maybe it was the horrible ratings it faced after said premiere. But come on! Who wouldn’t want to shoot a show where you sip drinks and chill with celebrities? I would take this job in a heartbeat. Hey, now that Queen Khloé has stepped down, maybe I’ll finally have my shot.
The glimpse of silver lining here is that there are pre-taped episodes of the show that will still air, including the finale, so we don’t have to say goodbye just yet. Which is good news specifically for me, since I already bought another bottle of red to celebrate..
