Strap on your seatbelts and break out the popcorn, ladies, because Mandy Moore is back to reprise her role as Rapunzel in a Disney Channel spin-off series. Just when you thought the Disney Channel was total crap, they pull a move like this and we’re all suddenly believers again. The network confirmed that the animated series will star Moore alongside Zachary Levi, returning to play Eugene (aka Flynn Rider).

The show will pick up where the movie left off, with Rapunzel getting to know her parents, dating her uber-cute outlaw boyfriend, and getting into a boatload of royal shenanigans.

This is huge, you guys. Tangled is arguably one of the best Disney movies out there, and not only because the majority of the storyline is centered around hair. I’m hoping, no, praying, that there is a musical component to the show. I also hope that the production staff is smart enough to revert to her blonde locks, instead of keeping the brown pixie cut Flynn gives her at the end of the movie (which I’m definitely still pissed about).

The Disney Channel announced that show is set to premiere in 2017. We’re ready for you, Mandy.
