About a year ago, Disney announced its newest and possibly greatest Disney channel original movie to date, Descendants. The live action film precedes the coronation of the teenage son of Prince Adam (Beast) and Belle. His first order of business is to allow the children of our favorite villains, Jafar, Cruella, the Evil Queen, and Maleficent to attend the same high school as the children of the heroes. With some strange plot to take down the heroes, and obvious resistance from the teens and immediate tension between the “bad” kids and the “good” kids, the trailer looks incredible.
The children of Mulan, Rapunzel, and Aurora are said to be making an appearance, among possible others. If you think being nearly double the age of the intended audience is going to stop me from watching this movie when it airs later this year, you are sadly mistaken..
