Good news to all you single girls out there–you can get married right now, without hesitation. A new reality show called “Married At First Sight” can give you the opportunity to finally find the man of your dreams and have a Pinterest-inspired wedding, all at the same time. Sure, it may be a little unorthodox and crazy, but it just might work.
The show took six single people and matched them together to create the perfect couples. The six singles legally agreed to marry without ever meeting their soon-to-be spouses. They didn’t even know their names (kind of reminds me of my text log the next morning after blacking out at the bar). Shockingly, there’s actually some sort of method to this madness.

The extreme social experiment uses four experts — a sexologist, spiritualist, psychologist and sociologist — to create three perfect couples based on scientific matchmaking.
You can’t argue with science, ladies.
The show should run for 10 episodes. The first episode is about the wedding, and the following nine will track each couple’s new life together for the following four weeks. I can’t think of a better way to get to know my new wife than by having cameras follow our every move.
Fortunately (or unfortunately?) there is a way out. After the four weeks, the couples can decide to get a divorce or to continue on with their happy lives together. I can see a really awkward situation where one wants out and the other doesn’t happening. Call me old-fashioned, but I believe in the traditional forms of dating–you know, the 2 a.m. post-party trip to the nearest pizza joint, followed by a 45-second bang sesh.
