Nick Jonas Plays Frat Boy In New Film, Talks About Fraternity Culture And Hazing

Nick Jonas

Nick Jonas loves playing frat boys. The drama Goat which premiered Friday at the Sundance Film Festival, though, is a far cry from the comedic frat boy the actor played in Scream Queens. The film, based on Brad Land’s memoir has been described as “brutal and harrowing” by Vanity Fair.

The film follows actor Brad Land, portrayed by Ben Schnetzer, as he joins his older brother’s (Jonas) fraternity in attempt to normalize his life after suffering an assault the previous summer. Brad is then subjected to “physical, mental, and, yes, absolutely, sexual” hazing rituals.

Jonas speaks to what the film says about fraternity culture as a whole:

Nervous, but this also looks incredible.
