For the longest time, my celebrity crush was on Michael Phelps. I’m not entirely sure why, since he’s kind of dorky looking, but I had seriously convinced myself that if only we were to meet, we would certainly fall in love, get married, and live happily ever after in the biggest mansion swimming pool money could buy. But then Phelps had to go and get engaged – to a former Miss California, of course – and have a baby and my dreams were dashed.
But even as I wallow in my sadness, I have to admit that Phelps’ baby, Boomer, is the cutest Olympic fan there is. While his dad is being made into memes for his ready-room angry face, baby Boomer is just chillin’ in Rio, as his very own Instagram account documents every adorable moment.
How freakin’ cute is he? Well, Michael, I suppose if you had to abandon me for a beauty queen, being able to follow this adorable little nugget makes up for it..
