Nice Move

In the same way that the pumpkin spice latte signals the beginning of fall, the arrival of the Starbucks red cup signals the start holiday season. This year there have been many rumors about what the red cup will look like. Will it be green? Will it be just one different design? It’s been red cup madness. Well fear no more. There will still be red cups, but instead of just one design there will be thirteen. Twelve for warm red cups and one for cold drinks. These beautiful cups will be released TODAY, so prepare to see your Instagram feed filled with Starbucks drinks.

So here’s the recap on how this alteration happened. People gave Starbucks a bunch of shit last year for their holiday red cups. It wasn’t pretty. So the company came up with a red cup contest where customers were asked to design their own holiday cup. Little did they know that the best designs would be chosen for this year. Brilliant. Now people can quit bitching.

In case you don’t get your Starbucks fix today, here’s a glance at what the rest of the world will be drinking out of:

Hurry up and get one. Instagram is waiting.

Kellie, spelled with an "ie," practically resides at Starbucks even though they have yet to spell her name correctly. She's obsessed with the color pink, Elle Woods, and Bitmoji's. Her biggest accomplishment is breaking the record within her sorority for how many standards hearings she has had without getting kicked out. She spends her free time trying to stay tan (i.e. sunburnt) and stalking people on social media.
