It came, it saw, it conquered. Pretty Little Liars has ran our lives and manipulated our brains for the past seven years. But all good things must come to an end, or something, right? The cast of PLL took to Instagram instead of their own personal diaries to document their last day of filming, which we are all eternally grateful for. Get the tissues ready folks, because it’s about to get heavy.
Reflecting on these last seven years in my empty room I called home. I will never forget this experience. I was so lucky to work with such amazing people who have affected my life greatly. I am so happy to know they will be my family from here on out. To the fans…… what can I say other than I love you so much. Thank you for being on this journey with me and giving me so much support. I wouldn't be here without all of you. I'm sad to say bye to Hanna….. but I'm excited to see what the future holds and I'm so happy to know that all of you will be by my side ❤️
Today we let Aria, Alison, Hanna, Emily, and Spencer go while the rest of us tried to cope by eating cake. Thank you everyone for this incredible ride. I'm trying to breathe and soak it all in and I'm just so full of gratitude that this was my life for so long. Rosewood Forever, xoxo Em. I mean Shay 💋. #PLLForever
There are not words that I can write (here) that could express the gratitude I have for walking next to this man for 7 years. @keeoone you know how I feel about you. You know what this part of my life means to me, you know all of the darkness and the light that we have shared over these years, the insane pants pissing laughter and now the heaving and hiccuping sobs that will live in my heart forever. Even if Spencer and Toby only exist in Rosewood you will always have me. Love you friend. Thank you.
As I reflect on these years together in my dressing room on stage 6 on the WB lot (apparently James Dean once climbed above it and hid in the rafters) it is silent. I am unable to find the words to equate how tremendously emotional I feel. It is unlike anything I could ever explain. I will think about this often, and look back fondly on what we all shared together. I can't even believe it. So grateful for the support of our fans and friends. I will miss this family so very much.
And if those Insta posts didn’t make you depressed enough, creator of Pretty Little Liars, I. Marelene King, took to Twitter to bid her final farewell.

IT HITS IN ALL THE FEELS. IT IS SO PAINFUL. HOW CAN WE EVER MOVE ON FROM THIS?
I honestly don’t have any answers for you, but a couple things I can tell you is that all five little liars are in the final scene, the finale will be a two-hour event, and it will be followed by a one-hour “tell all” with the whole cast.
I can’t decided if I’m excited or devastated. I’m sure you can all relate..
