Snapchat is realeasing something really cool: high tech sunglasses. Yes, you heard us right, sunglasses. So now, you can look cute and also snap the day away.
Apparently, Snapchat will create hardware as well as software for its users to enjoy. Its new high tech pair of sunglasses have a built in camera that allow you to record up to 10 seconds of video, which you can then send to your smartphone device via WiFi. After that, the video will be saved to your Memories section of Snapchat. All you have to do is hit a small button on the side of the sunglasses and it records everything. It’s incorporating a real-time experience in an interesting and new first person.
The glasses start at $129.99, come in three colors, and will also be a limited release so it won’t be a cheap endeavor. But they seem a lot more stylish than the Google glasses and some companies are projecting that the new Snap spectacles will turn into a much more successful product. Who knows, this may be the future of social media as we know it..
