Sorority Alumna From Drexel University Among The Victims In French Plane Crash

In the wake of yesterday’s horrific crash of a Germanwings flight in the French Alps, it has been confirmed that the two Americans onboard the flight were Yvonne Selke and her daughter, Emily Selke of Nokesville, Virginia. Emily is an alumna of the Zeta chapter of Gamma Sigma Sigma at Drexel University.

According to The Washington Post, Drexel University said in a statement that Emily was a 2013 honors graduate who majored in music industry in the school’s Antoinette Westphal College of Media Arts and Design. During her time at the university, she was also a member of Gamma Sigma Sigma, Drexel’s service sorority, where she served as Vice President of Membership. Last evening, the chapter shared the following on Facebook.
