Sorority Girl Charged With Murder Of Newborn

Sorority Girl Charged With Murder

When sorority girls talk about the drama unfolding on campus within the Greek community, it’s usually something along the lines of one sorority having an unregistered mixer with an underground fraternity, or of a chapter’s Greek Week theme being leaked early. Occasionally, it’ll be something crazy, like a sorority shitting all over campus. While these things are usually interesting, somewhat scandalous, and occasionally disgusting, they aren’t generally those “oh shit” moments that make you a little bit sad to be alive.

The students at Mukingum University do not share that luxury. Several months ago, a newborn baby, just a few hours old, was found dead in a dumpster outside the Delta Gamma Theta house. Now, reports are indicating that the child belonged to Emilie Weaver, 20-year-old former student and former member of the sorority.

The baby died of asphyxiation, though Weaver attempted to “clean the scene” back in April as not to get caught. She’s now being charged with “aggravated murder, abuse of a corpse and two counts of tampering with evidence.” Her bail is set at $1 million, and Weaver faces a possible lifetime sentence.

I’d rather have a campus pooper than this girl in my sorority any day. No words.
