To many people, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are style icons. For Katie Burroughs and Kathleen Lee, Kimye are more than that. They are a fashion inspiration.
The San Francisco twosome doesn’t just document Kim and Kanye’s fashion choices on their Tumblr and Instagram accounts–they recreate them in their own photos. While Lee and Burroughs are fans of the couple, they think their pictures have broad appeal. Lee told US Weekly, “As a couple they are iconic and even their haters can’t help but be fascinated by them. I think that’s why they are so appealing for this project, the people like us who already like them enjoy it, and the haters enjoy it because they see it as mocking them. We let people think what they want.”
