This Badass Graduating Senior Had The Sassiest Yearbook Quote Regarding Her School’s Sexist Dress Code

These days, stories of high school dress code rebellion are a dime a dozen. It seems like every female student is challenging her school’s ridiculous restrictions, and rightfully so. It’s not fair for us to have to cover our shoulders while boys continue to wear those awful mesh basketball shorts that, let’s face it, pretty much outline their junk for the entire world to see.

One recent graduate stands out among the rest, in the most blatantly snarky yearbook quote I’ve ever seen. Chloe Cross, a 17-year-old senior of San Mateo High School, utilized her senior quote as one last and final “fuck you” to yet another school’s outdated and sexist dress code.

Bye!

What is it about this quote that makes her so awesome? Personally, I think it’s the sassy “xoxo” at the end. It’s very Gossip Girl, and I immediately envisioned this chick strutting away from her school with a graduation cap on her head and her middle finger in the air. The quote is unsurprisingly getting a lot of attention, with a whopping 70,000 Tumblr reblogs.

Way to go, Chloe. Bid.
