Nice Move

Formal is one of the most fun and also one of the most stressful events in sorority world for a number of reasons — you have to find a dress, you have to plan the perfect pregame, and you have to find the perfect date. You need a guy who’s hot enough to make every other guy jealous and a guy who will make your formal a night that gets you triple digit likes on Instagram.

Enter the celebrity.

The trend of asking celebrities to formal is alive and well, and a girl named Sarah Rossi of Delta Gamma at Texas Tech got her sorority involved when asking pro athlete JJ Watt to go to formal with her — recruitment style. I don’t know Watt personally, so I’m not sure if he was in a sorority, but what I do know is that no one can resist formal recruitment…for formal.

I giggled. And so will JJ, and if you can make a guy laugh, you can make him do anything, right?
