This One Point Concerning Caitlyn Jenner Will Change Absolutely Everything

Ever since Caitlyn Jenner was “set free” a few days ago, people can’t stop talking about how freaking gorgeous she is. With good reason, too. She’s a complete knockout. Everyone is posting pictures of her with their support, making memes, and laughing at the fact that she might just be hotter than Kris.

We were so thrilled, and honestly, we couldn’t support Cait’s awesome look enough. Finally she was the woman that she always wanted to be, and we got to celebrate that, right? Sort of. The only problem is that we have all been complete assholes about the whole thing. Shocking, I know. In a recent “Daily Show” Jon Stewart said something that we all should have been saying.

Damn. It sort of puts things in perspective. Sure Caitlyn looks hot, but she’s still a wildly successful person who has (and continues to) accomplish so much. In the fight for equality, we’re all kind of acting like idiots. I wish I could say it’s not acutally like this, but who am I to lie to the lady? This is exactly what the world is like. Being smart and successful is sort of whatever, but being hot? Now that will get you far in life. But as a Kardashian/Jenner, she’s seen that first hand.

A part of me is ashamed, but the the other part of me is still wildly jealous of the personal makeup artists she’s about to have. Besides, everyone knows that women hate other women’s successes. Welcome to the world of being judged, detested, and valued based off of beauty, Cait. I hope it’s everything you dreamed of.
