University Of Texas Fraternity Makes Really, Um, Interesting “Blank Space” Video, We’re Not Sure How We Feel About It

UT Fraternity Taylor Swift Blank Space Video

BYX (pronounced “Bucks”) is a fraternity, Brothers Under Christ, that was founded at the University of Texas in 1985. I had honestly never heard of it until our interns at our Austin-based office explained that it’s actually a really big fraternity, and there are a bunch of “Bucks girls” who are obsessed with the organization. However, I’ve gotten word that they’re not big drinkers, so this girl doesn’t fucks with Bucks.

In any case, the fraternity made a little lip-sync video to (What else?) Taylor Swift’s “Blank Space.” Watching it, I was torn. One part of me thought, “No way are all these girls posing for coupley scenes really these guys’ girlfriends. If my not-boyfriend had asked me to do this with him in college, I’d have fainted.” The other part of me, however, was really curious about what exactly the boys were hoping to accomplish with this video. It was…maybe funny? Maybe a little homoerotic, despite all the pretty girls. I just felt confused, honestly. Check it out for yourself.

Rush BYX.
