David and Victoria Beckham have to be the most gorgeous couple of all time. Yes, I know everyone is obsessed with Brad and Angelina, and they’re attractive in their own right, but David and Victoria are straight up beautiful humans who just so happen to be madly in love with each other. You almost want to hate them (because you can’t be beautiful AND happily in love with your soulmate — PICK ONE), but you can’t because you’re a sucker for love just like the rest of us.
Victoria Beckham recently landed the cover of the October issue of British Vogue and unsurprisingly, she looks incredible.
In the issue, she writes a letter to her 18-year-old self on the night she met David. She describes it as “love at first sight.”
“Yes, love at first sight does exist. It will happen to you in the Manchester United players’ lounge – although you will get a little drunk, so exact details are hazy. While the other football players stand at the bar drinking with their mates, you will see David standing aside with his family. (He’s not even in the first team at this stage – you are the famous one.) And he has such a cute smile. You, too, are close to your family, and you will think how similar he feels to you. He’s going to ask for your number. (He still has the London-to-Manchester plane ticket on which you wrote it.)”
17 years of marriage and four children later, Victoria and David Beckham are proof that true love exists — but only if you’re beautiful, successful, and kind of tipsy. .
