Everyone has their favorite form of social media. You probably love Snapchat if you’re an avid selfie-taker, Facebook if you’re the mom of your friend group, and LinkedIn if you want to show off your new internship as a boss bitch. Personally, I love Instagram, because I love showing off that I have a boyfriend (#humblebrag), and also because I love to judge other people’s lives.
However, there’s been one major flaw impeding on my Instagram stalking sessions – the lack of zoom. For years, I’ve had to hold my phone up to my face and squint to see every detail of your personal lives. Did you really pick gardenias for your bridesmaid bouquets? Are my eyes deceiving me, or is that a slight wave in the background on your FaceTune fail? Honestly, it’s exhausting.
Now, all of your problems have been solved. Starting right this moment, you can now use the pinch-and-zoom technique on your smartphone to magnify photos of friends and enemies alike. Is Kelly’s ring under a carat? Did Sharon gain five pounds this summer? Now you can take your judging to a whole new level, and I’ve honestly never been more thrilled.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I have some stalking to do. .
