Nice Move

Is your cat your life? Have you sworn off men, claiming you’re going to die alone in a sea of feline companions? Do you feel like if you have to be away from your cat for any amount of time that you will “literally die”? Ladies, have I got the Christmas gift for you. Now you can take your crazy cat lady status to the next level with – wait for it – cat perfume.

No, it’s not perfume for your cat. It’s perfume for you that smells like your cat. Seriously.

Felissimo is the Japanese label that’s ensuring that everyone knows you’re single AF. The cat perfume is the newest item in their already-established line of cat products, but this one truly takes the cake. It’s designed to smell like the forehead of a cat – personally, I’ve never smelled a cat’s forehead, but users of the perfume claim it smells like “sunshine” (that has a smell?) and “sweet bread,” so maybe it’s not that bad.

The best part about this is the price – a 3.4 ounce bottle will put your latest Sephora purchase to shame at only $10.60 a bottle, or approximately the cost of one seasonal latte. The bad news is that, for the moment, this retailer isn’t shipping internationally, meaning you’ll either need to tack on a couple grand for a plane ticket or start scouring eBay stat for this awesome gift. If you find yourself in Japan though, be sure to pick up several bottles for your single friends’ Secret Santa gifts – I’m sure they’ll think it’s hilarious.
