Zeta Wants Everyone To Wear Pink To The UT Game Saturday

There’s so much good to love about October — Halloween, sweater weather, pumpkin everything, the list goes on. But among the top things to love about October is that the whole world turns pink in order to raise awareness for breast cancer and honor its survivors. It’s an amazing cause, and if I do say so myself, it’s the best color, too.

With breast cancer at the core of its national philanthropies, Zeta Tau Alpha holds this month close to home. The University of Tennessee chapter aims to make the whole world…or at least the whole school think pink this weekend at the school’s home game, as they encourage everyone in Neyland Stadium to wear pink for a Pink Out.

This is “the first student-initiated and -run event to take place in Neyland,” according to Zeta’s philanthropy chair Kara Rose O’Malley. The sorority is happy to report that they’ve seen an overwhelmingly positive response from the Greek community, the student body, and even people outside the school. 2,000 people have already committed to wearing pink at this Saturday’s game, and the girls are so excited to reach so many people for a good cause.

Can’t wait to see the photos.
