I didn't join my sorority until I was a junior, but those two years of being unaffiliated gave me the opportunity to get to know girls in every house on campus, be sure of which house was right for me, and honestly, it gave me the chance to fall in love with my chapter and all of the girls in it. Yes, I am sad that I don't get to experience all four years, but I think that I appreciate all that a sorority is more than I would have, had I not dropped out of recruitment freshman year. Plus, I have the absolute best pledge class (all freshman but me, of course).
My sisters are quite -and I am using this word correctly, no exaggeration- LITERALLY some of the kindest, sweetest, more caring, fun and supportive people that I have ever had the pleasure of knowing.
I may have done some things a little backwards but when it comes to my sisters, I have no regrets.
