He tried to put his unvisited hands down her pants in the middle of a crowded bar. In what scenario is that not assault? I’m so sick of women who feel this compulsion to tell other women that what happened to them wasn’t “that bad” and that it’s “No big deal” . It happens on every article here. Is it too much to ask to just listen to another woman’s story, empathize with her and not leave a shitty comment minimizing her very real experience. Gtfo.
Really? The whole point of her message is that looks/weight shouldn’t matter. She personally was told out of all the other girls she’s not pretty enough. The problem is with the overall stereotype of a “homecoming queen” . No one is bashing the other girls running.
My big got kicked out about a month after my initiation and wasn’t a happy break. I had a hard time adjusting since I was the only new member in a VERY small chapter without a big, it sucked. But, when I finally got my little it was easier, though awkward when talking about “family trees” .
These videos have been around since at least 2008 (it’s an awesome spoof on The Fabulous Life with the narrator and everything)
The ONLY reasons APhi is getting bashed is because it’s Bama and Lord knows what would CNN show on TV this week if there isn’t a story on how deplorable sororities, esp at Bama are. Leave Greek life alone and find some real news.
I. Did an internship in a mental health unit and we had a patient one time who was leaving red streaks when she got up from the furniture. When we saw them we didn’t just clean it up with a damp napkin. It was gloves and sterilization wipes etc… blood is dangerous. How disgusting if you go to a restaurant with cloth booths and the woman before you bled all over it.
Look into being a “highly sensitive person” . I know that sounds like some feel good mumbo-jumbo but I cry all the time and learning about it has really helped. I’m still a leaky faucet but I understand why now. Not to mention being an HSP is pretty awesome once you know how to channel it.
Her book was ridiculous, she talked about the urban legend of a sorority houses pipes rusting from all of its bulimic members purging. She’s not a journalist, she’s a sensationalist and she’s going to make killing off her re-release of her “updated” book. Must be nice to make money off an organization you truly know nothing about.
This is showing my age, but I definitely watch the S&TC episode where Samantha returns her vibrator to Brookstone. Totally went and got one, was definitely still in high school. No shame.
He’s gay.
How does she eat Chick-fil-A 4 times a week and still look like that?
Ted Cruz Foreign Exchange Student.

Yupp, you’re a bitch. Honesty doesn’t matter if you have no tact or compassion. This strategy didn’t work that great for Nicole Arbour.

Thank you TSM for being the one site on the Internet that actually realizes this was terrible and not to be encouraged.
Definitely considering a move to Oregon to become a professional weed wedding crasher.
That’s a yoga mantra. TSM
They’re “Ranger Qualified” meaning they could join the 75th, except that women aren’t allowed.
Just because they don’t go to the 75th doesn’t make their accomplishments any less.
Plus this is TSM, I don’t expect anyone to know the difference between “Ranger Qualified” and “Ranger in the 75th as your MOS” .

If you aren’t willing to get married at a courthouse in a burlap sack you have no clue what marriage is about and shouldn’t be getting married.

Just a suggestion, pictures of each orgs badges would be awesome in the article. I love seeing what other sororities badges look like.

Ben & Jerry are the best kind of hippies.
