26 Reasons Why Every Girl Should Date A Frat Guy

    As a girl who’s been in two pretty serious non-Greek relationships, believe me when I say that fraternity men do relationships (and everything else) better.

  1. He doesn’t complain about formals, date nights, having to wear costumes, or anything like that.
  2. He gets why your little is literally the most important person ever to exist in your life.
  3. While he might not understand your need to spend $50 on paint, glitter, and canvasses, he’ll never complain (to your face, at least).
  4. He always has brothers for your single friends.
  5. Shack shirts. Duh.
  6. Hanging out in a frat house is actually super fun.
  7. He won’t judge you for drinking a whole bottle of wine.
  8. He’ll understand your crazy schedule.
  9. He has his own brothers and stuff to do, so he’s not ALWAYS around.
  10. He’s the world’s best photographer to capture every time you throw what you know.
  11. You can craft for him without him thinking you’re stupid.
  12. He’ll never refer to your sorority as a “little girls’ club.”
  13. You’re always on the list for parties, events, and so on.
  14. He gets that chapter is annoying and long, but that it’s also a necessity, so he never whines when you have to go.
  15. He knows that a secret is a secret, so he’s not continuously badgering you about ritual.
  16. He’ll shamelessly promote any event your chapter holds.
  17. You’ll never have to pay for the Carolina Cup, mountain weekend, or beach week. (You will, however, have to paint a cooler, which can be super frustrating.)
  18. His brothers eventually start to treat you like a little sister, so you have at least 60 bodyguards whenever you go out.
  19. He understands the politics of your sorority and can occasionally play the game even better than you.
  20. All it takes is you saying “standards” for him to have a glass of wine and a good movie ready to comfort you.
  21. He’s a great bartender with a vast knowledge of drinks you’ve never heard of.
  22. He’s always up for day drinking, Tuesday night drinking, or any other kind of drinking you want to do.
  23. He’ll protect your little like she’s his own.
  24. He will ALWAYS maintain that your sorority is the top sorority on campus, even if that’s not exactly true.
  25. He and his brothers are great recruiters. (For you. Hey, you guys get rush boobs, why can’t we have a little man-objectifying goodness when we’re recruiting?)
  26. Deep down, he knows how much you love your sisterhood and your sisters. He knows why you chose your organization, and he respects it. You know that quote, “from the outside looking in, you can never understand it. From the inside looking out, you can never explain it”? Well he’s already on the inside, so you’ll never have to. He’s the Chuck to your Blair, or the less annoying, better-haired Dan to your Serena. He just gets it in a way that no GDI ever could.
