On Monday, July 15th, a California Superior Court judge revoked Chris Brown’s probation for his involvement in a hit and run this past May. Unfortunately for the general public, he is not ordered back in jail.
Brown was involved in a traffic accident on May 12th of this year in San Fernando Valley, California. Immediately after running into the back of another car, Brown exited his motor vehicle but refused to give the other driver his personal information.
The driver, identified as Olga G., claims that he was cordial at first and then began acting erratically when she requested to see his driver’s license and proof of insurance. Being the model citizen that he is, Brown refused her requests and then lunged at her when she took a photo of him and the car damage.
Court documents state that the passenger in Brown’s car, Karrueche Tientrese, had to scream at Chris Brown not to touch Olga G., the other driver. In fairness, we all know how Chris gets on the side of the road.
After the confrontation, he got in his car and sped away from the scene of the accident. He was later identified and charged with a misdemeanor hit-and-run and driving without a valid license.
Brown, of course, has been on probation since the 2009 beating of his then girlfriend, Rihanna. Since then, he has been in and out of headlines, the courtroom, and Rihanna’s vagina.
Since his arrest for assault four years ago, Brown has been ignoring struggling to abide by the terms of his probation. He landed in hot water over falsifying his community service hours. And just this past January, found himself the subject of a potential new assault case, this time with singer Frank Ocean, after he instigated a fight at a recording studio. Ocean later decided not to press charges.
Chris Brown’s time in court is still not over, however. Though the judge decided not to send him to jail over the hit and run and invalid license, he has indeed lost his probation. Two more hearings on the matter are scheduled for July 23rd and August 16th.
Here’s to hoping Brown acts like the arrogant douchebag that he is and proceeds to yet again break the law between now and the hearings. I was a big fan of Inmate Chris Brown.
