We have a Royal baby name. I repeat, we have a Royal baby name.
Moments ago, George Alexander Louis was announced to be the name picked by William and Kate, Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, for their son, the third in line for the British throne. The name was officially announced via a tweet from Clarence House.
George, or His Royal Highness, was born on Monday, July 22st at St. Mary’s Hospital in central London. He was a healthy 8 pounds, 6 ounces.
The world caught its first glimpse of sweet baby George yesterday, as he was introduced to the press by his mom and dad. He is currently residing in an apartment in Kensington Palace.
The child, who falls in line for the throne behind his grandfather, Charles, and his father, William, will one day rule all of England and the fifteen other commonwealth countries under Britain’s ceremonial rule. Countries include Australia, Canada, and New Zealand.
Welcome, little George. The world is watching.
