Ohio State University Emergency Room To Potentially Be Named After Abercrombie And Fitch

Like many young people in this country, I went through an Abercrombie and Fitch phase. It began when I was about 10 years old, and ended when I was about 15, as it should have. Something about the pockets sticking out the bottom of my jean skirt and graphic t-shirt combo really got me going in my youth. My mom would say dumb things like, “Don’t buy one of those tacky ones with ‘Abercrombie and Fitch’ written all over it! You don’t need to be advertising where you shop!” and I was like Mom. That’s literally the reason I shop here — so I can buy those shirts and people know where I got them. It’s called “fashion,” dumbass.

I shopped there, because (I thought) it was cool. Little did I know, the overpriced shelf tank top makers were also philanthropists. A&F has donated over $10 million to Ohio State University’s medical center, and has helped to create the “Abercrombie & Fitch Chair in Inflammatory Bowel Disease faculty position.” Abercrombie is the shit again, you guys.

As a thanks, OSU is considering naming their emergency room after the franchise that’s become the sole determinant of middle school popularity. After the board of trustees votes this Friday, Ohio State will become the second medical center in the Columbus area to pay homage to the store tailored exclusively for skinny people, after a few others nationwide.

If you ask me, this is just a way to stop people from going there.
