I can only hope that someday, somebody loves me as much as Tyra Banks loves herself. Only Tyra would create a reality competition show, the goal of which is to showcase herself. I’m not saying I wouldn’t have photos of myself all over the place if I were a model, but I wouldn’t make my self-absorption so obvious. Tyra, you don’t have to stand up to demonstrate to your minions how they should have taken every single picture. Your glory days are behind you. Model pose in the mirror like the rest of us. “The world is your runway” is just a saying.
It’s Fashion Week in New York City, so the queen of all attention whores is naturally under the false impression that people are interested in what a 39-year-old former model is up to. To divert eyes from the younger, more relevant models in the industry, Tyra arranged for a photoshoot in which she’d emulate fifteen other models. Among them, are Linda Evangelista, Claudia Schiffer, Kate Upton, Grace Jones, Brooke Shields, Lauren Hutton, Twiggy, Carmen Dell-Orefice, Karlie Kloss, Jerry Hall, Iman, and get ready for it…herself at age 15. Fucking Tyra.
