They say that D.C. is Hollywood for ugly people, but what about funny people? The first thing to come to mind when you think of the nation’s capital probably isn’t comedy, but that’s just what these politicians have accomplished. Taking time out of their incredibly hectic days of meetings they didn’t attend, bills they didn’t vote on, and fundraisers they’ll get too drunk at, a few U.S. Senators and Representatives sat down and were recorded reading mean tweets directed at them. While it is nice that they’re able to laugh at themselves for a job poorly done, it would be nicer if they weren’t so incapable of not fucking up in the first place. Whatever. We’re in debt and at war, but at least we’re funny! George Washington would be proud.
