There’s a lot of lists out there that rank universities for all kinds of different reasons. Some use facts and figures. Others use a less scientific method, like looking at pictures on Tumblr and considering the input of a bunch of frat guys with dad bods. But is there a list out there for those of us who are equally interested in looks and intellect (read: earning potential)?
Well, the folks at the dating app Hinge have come up with that list. Using information on attractiveness from their own app – university alumni that have high “swipe right” rates on their profiles – and combining it with info from the US News & World Report’s competitive ranking of national universities, they developed a list of the top thirty universities with the most brainy and bangable alumni.
- Vanderbilt University
- Wake Forest University
- Southern Methodist University
- Duke University
- University of Virginia
- Tulane University
- University of Miami
- University of Wisconsin – Madison
- Clemson University

Bonus: the report has pictures of actual alumni who are currently on Hinge. And I’ve got to be honest, there are definitely some guys on there that I’d go on a first date with. And by first date, I mean invite over at 1 a.m. when I’m drunk and horny. Obviously. So if you’ll excuse me, I’ll be over here furiously swiping right until I match with that hot guy from Georgetown..
