Schume-dog, you are so cute.
Back when she was only twelve, her father got sick, and her family lost everything, including their farm. As someone from the north east, I didn’t actually know there were farms on Long Island, but that’s not the point. As she’s finally stacked enough paper to to sit pretty, she got her dad a really sweet Christmas present this year, and bought the family’s farm back.
Here’s his reaction to her telling him.
And the best part is Amy being a little brat as a kid, threatening leaving her father — a sentiment that I could relate to as a child, and now as an adult with every boyfriend I have. Similarly, when I threaten “I’m leaving,” their reaction is also generally “okay, bye.”
