Being able to laugh at yourself is the number one way to succeed in life, at least socially. Maxine Hupy, Kappa Kappa Gamma graduate from Northwestern, went from sorority girl, once featured in Playboy, to professional dancer. She landed herself the starring role in the hilarious Play-N-Skillz music video featuring Redfoo, Lil Jon, and Enertia McFly. Titled “Literally, I Can’t,” we know why Party Rock Records decided to go with a sorority theme, but we think they got a few things wrong. While “Literally, I Can’t” is undoubtedly a sorority girl mantra, we don’t feel like our lives align exactly with those of the members of LΦC.
They walk into the party, the perfect embodiments of the “classy, but slutty” vibe we all strive so hard to attain. They’ve got their noses in the air and their hands in the hair when the members of the STFU fraternity start to offer the girls shots — to which they reply “Literally, I Can’t.” Shot of vodka? I can’t. Tequila? I can’t. After party? I can’t. Literally, I can’t. Totally unrealistic. Sorority bitches love vodka. And tequila. And after parties. While the list of things we “literally can’t” do may seem endless, any true sorority girl knows that the list does end, and the list of things we “literally can” do starts with a shot of vodka, and ends with…well, you’ll have to party with us to find out.
Regardless, both the song, and the video are hilarious. Check it out below..
