AHS Season 7 Is Literally Going To Be About The Election

I don’t know how well you guys keep up with politics, but there was an election this year. Things got pretty heated. You might not know this, but it was kind of like, a country divided. People got pretty aggressive on social media. People cried. People argued. Shit got really real. The word “nightmare” was tossed around, and the year 2016 became a meme, which has never happened before in history, so kudos, people.

Some people out there made some hahas about how terrible the year, and more specifically the election, was likening it to a horror film, or an episode of Black Mirror. And with all this, Ryan Murphy, executive producer of American Horror Story, (your FAVE!) was like, “hey, so this just popped into the ole cranium. AHS: Election.” And so it was.

In just a brief moment with reality TV drama queen Andy Cohen, Murphy confessed that while he didn’t have a title yet, season 7 of American Horror Story would in fact be based on the 2016 election. And there just might be a Trump figure.

Spooky.
