One of the best parts about the Disney princesses is, by far, the hair. I’ll go ahead and admit that I still miss out on a good chunk of “The Little Mermaid” storyline every time I watch it, simply because I’m too busy fantasizing about Ariel’s hair replacing my own. Can you blame me? It’s long, it’s perfect, and it makes me want to die and be reincarnated as an illustration.

But what if these princesses had more attainable ‘dos? BuzzFeed artist Loryn Brantz decided to recreate these princesses, swapping their ridiculously perfect locks with a more realistic take. The results are amazing, and ultimately, they show that it will take more than some frizz and wind to make our favorite princesses anything less than gorgeous.
