Another Military Homecoming Video That Will Crush Your Soul

Screen Shot 2016-03-02 at 11.23.06 AM

If you don’t cry (or at least tear up) watching a military homecoming video, get out. Get out of this country right now because you are a cold, soulless person who does not deserve to reap the benefits of living in the land of the free and the home of the brave.

If you do cry watching military homecoming videos, I have something you’re going to like. I don’t know why we enjoy the flood of emotions that come from watching such a heartwarming video, but we do. It’s the best surprise in the world, having someone you love show up out of the blue after they were gone for awhile. Seeing them, running into their arms, hugging them, it’s all so damn beautiful.

This video captures the moment a little boy realizes his dad is home from the navy and it is emotional AF.

A Love Surprise

When his mom says, “If you can think of one surprise in the whole world, what would it be?” and he says “For him to come home,” I just lost it.

Your makeup is already ruined so why not watch a personal favorite military homecoming video of a soldier coming home from Afghanistan and surprising his girlfriend at his old fraternity house. Tears. So many tears.

It’s okay. I’m fine. I just need a minute.
