Queen Bey took a break from strutting her stuff in a half-naked and bejeweled dress at the 2015 Met Gala and put on a dress with an appropriate neckline to make an appearance at a fundraising event for Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign, according to multiple sources.
The event was held by the CEO of Epic Records and his wife at their NYC home and only cost a measly $2,700 to attend. That’s chump change for a Queen. According to Cosmopolitan, stars including Meghan Trainor and Sharon Osbourne also made an appearance to show their support, adding to the long list of powerful women in Hollywood supporting the Democratic nominee.

It’s no secret Beyoncé and her (lesser known) husband support the democratic party, considering the couple has been close with the Obamas for years. It’s charming to see the leader of our nation take an interest in the presidential election. I’d say Hillary Clinton should ask Bey to run as her VP nominee, but why would Queen B want to downgrade?.
