Beyoncé Really Pissed People Off With Her “Big Announcement” This Morning

Most of the time, there is very little that the human perfection known as Beyoncé can do wrong. Now, of course, there are some people that don’t care for her but honestly, they’re wrong. At least, I had thought so. But then she pulled a total diva move on “Good Morning America” this morning and we’re all kind of wondering what the actual fuck?

It started over the weekend when this promo for Beyoncé’s appearance aired:

Naturally, people were pumped. What was the “something amazing” Queen Bey had to share with us? New music? A baby on the way for her and Jay-Z? An announcement that she’s running for president in 2016? #Beyoncé2016?!? Not so much. Turns out, her appearance was to plug The 22-Day Revolution, the vegan diet plan that she’s been promoting since February.

In the clip, which was billed as the “first time” she’s spoken out about the diet according to E! News, Mrs. Z says “I am not naturally the thinnest. I have curves. I’m proud of my curves and I have struggled since a young age with diets and finding something that actually works, actually keeps the weight off, has been difficult for me.”

Now, I could totally make a snarky comment about how hard it must be to lose weight when you have the money for chefs, nutritionists, and trainers, but I’ll refrain. The people on Twitter, however, will not. The reactions from her “Beyhive” have ranged from seriously pissed off to completely hilarious.

Oh, Beyoncé, I hope you learn a lesson from all the hamburger emojis being tweeted at you right now. Your next “announcement” had better be a really good one, or people are going to start thinking you’re the diva who cries wolf (but doesn’t eat it).
