This isn’t the sort of thing that we usually cover, but as a site that caters to college students, I felt that we had no choice but to cover this. It is a sad, tragic day for Hannah Graham’s family, the UVA community, and the millions and millions of people from across the world who have waited with baited breath in the hopes that Hannah would be found alive. Unfortunately, the hope of her safe return is now over, as her remains have been found.
While forensics tests have yet to be done, Hannah’s family has been notified of the discovery and authorities are near certain it is her. The body was found earlier this afternoon in a shallow grave just ten miles from where she was last seen alive.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone touched by her tragic and untimely death. .
