I’m hands-down one of the judgiest people in the world. It’s not because I think I’m better than anyone else — I’ve accepted the fact that I’m a literal human garbage can. No, I’m judgy because I just sort of hate people. I don’t mean that in a mean way, it’s just that when it all comes down to it, I’m a bitch. So while the occasional social interaction with a select group of people is okay, I’d prefer to live in a world with a whole bunch of pizza, a whole bunch of dogs, and a whole bunch of John Krasinski movies (or just John Krasinski, if I’m creating my perfect world).
Sadly, that’s not the world we live in, which is why rap battles were created. They’re basically just an excuse to say horrible things about someone with the mask of a shitty beat — and it’s glorious. And while I’m not great at them (I can only drunkenly say the first like, ten words to that “8 Mile” song and that’s it) some people can really kill it.
And on “The Late Late Show with James Corden”, Cara Delevingne, Dave Franco, and James Corden himself did just that. The disses. The comments that definitely crossed some lines. The fact that they criticized Cara’s eyebrows when it’s like, “boys, come on.” A great time was had at the expense of these three C-List celebs.
So it was obviously totally staged but still, you gotta respect people who can not only dish it, but take it as well..
