As much as we all like to pretend we’re adults (LOL), let’s be honest with ourselves. There is no way in hell we could keep ourselves alive, clothed, and fed without our parents. We’re really just kids at heart, in a semi-adult body. With that in mind, I found a must-have for your Christmas wish-list.
Crayola just launched a selection of coloring books geared specifically towards adults. Crayola Color Escapes feature over-sized intricate designs and are offered in four all-in-one sets, including: Garden, Kaleidoscope, Geometric, and Nature. The drawings are designed by artist Claudia Nice and printed on professional-quality sketching paper, meaning you won’t have to worry about accidentally tearing the pages if you go a little too hard on a drawing. A common flaw in the children’s version, if I do say so myself.
Is it just me or is this the greatest thing in the world? I’m not even a little embarrassed to admit that I own a 7-9 year old Princess coloring book, and hell yeah I use it. Now I confidently buy a coloring book and not have to lie about it being for the kids I babysit or my cousins. Coloring is soothing, okay!? Add a glass bottle of wine and some Sam Smith and we’re in business.
Looks like I found what all of my friends are getting as presents this year..
