Dan Bilzerian’s Bastard Son Raised In Frat House

Dan Bilzerian

Creative philanthropies are the best philanthropies and I’m feeling really good about AEPi’s event at the University of California Santa Barbara. In what they call #AEPiGivesBack, the fraternity is on a mission to raise $10,000 for ten different charities, and like all good marketers do, they made up a little story to go along with their cause. Watch the promo video below.

So far, AEPi has raised $1,310 toward their $10,000 goal. Beneficiaries include a few secular organizations and many Jewish and Israeli organizations to support the fraternity’s background.

BBYO – an enrichment program for Jewish teens.
B’nai B’rith International’s Disaster Relief Program – the oldest Jewish service organization specializing in disaster relief.
Israel Children’s Cancer Foundation – an organization that provides clinical support for 97% of Israeli children with cancer.
IDF Widows and Orphans Organization – an organization providing financial and emotional support for Jewish orphans and widow, often helping to provide for Bar and Bat Mitzvahs
Simon Wiesenthal Center – a Jewish human rights organization fighting against anti-Semitism
Taglit-Birthright Israel – aiding Jewish youths in their birthright trip to Israel
MadaTech – The Israel National Museum of Science, Technology & Space – “fosters a love of science among Israeli children and youth”
Innovation: Africa – bringing Israeli influence to African countries including “light, clean water, food, and proper medical care to more than 450,000” people in African countries

Gift of Life Bone Marrow Foundation – bone marrow and blood stem cell registry, facilitating transplants
Heroes to Heroes Foundation – supporting veterans dealing with PTSD

A little bit of comedy for a lot of great causes. Dan seems to have gotten a kick out of the video too.
