Holy. Fucking. Shit. Everyone remember this day as the best day that has ever happened for every ’90s girl in America. Today is the day that *NSYNC dropped a new album.
Throughout the years, bands like Backstreet Boys and New Kids On The Block have reunited and toured the country, giving ’90s girls reason to rejoice. I can neither confirm or deny that I’ve been to these concerts–but I will, and they were the best nights of my life. However, there was always one little thing missing, one heartstring always tugged, one longing voice inside my head: “If only *NSYNC would come back.” I can’t promise that the first boys I ever fought over at a slumber party will ever get back together, but their voices did on their new album, “The Essential *NSYNC.”
The best part about this? The record dropped without the guys’ knowledge. Lance Bass tweeted this morning:
I love when the record label doesn’t even tell you they are releasing a new ‘NSYNC album tomorrow ! #TheyCare pic.twitter.com/8gWZ8OwqxX

Apparently the head of Sony Music Entertainment, which is *NSYNC’s record label, is as big of a fangirl as the rest of us, so America owes him a HUGE thank you. As soon as this surprise album was announced, it immediately sold out on iTunes. Yep, *NSYNC’s new album was such a hit that it literally broke the Internet. “The Essential *NSYNC” features old classics as well as–WAIT FOR IT–never. released. tracks. That’s right, you can now hear brand new *NSYNC songs for the first time ever. Let’s just say if I get hit by a bus Regina George-style this afternoon, I’ll finally be able to die happy.
If you’re not excited about this because you’re a BSB fan, well…there’s the door.
