Facebook's "Year In Review" Is An Emotional Roller Coaster Through 2015

Congrats! You got through the year! You probably didn’t think you’d make it, but here you are. Go you. Even though you’re probably still writing the date as 2012, you’re almost to 2016.

Like every year, there’s a million things going on in the news each day. It’s hard to keep up with everything. Maybe you avoid the news altogether, and I don’t blame you. Now is the time to get caught up in only two minutes. Facebook’s “Year In Review” video highlights the monumental moments of 2015, along with the whirlwind of emotions you felt. It’s two emotional minutes that will help restore your faith in humanity. You see the the good things like The Dress, the Whip and Nae Nae, the discovery of water on Mars, and Viola Davis’s uplifting Emmy’s speech. You also see the hard times we experience like the Black Lives Matter movement, the terror attacks on Paris, and the Nepal earthquakes.

It’s emotional. Prepare yourself.

As the year draws to a close, we remember what brought us together in 2015, and look forward the connections we'll make in 2016.
